Experience
Recently graduated, Tommy played four years of college basketball at NCAA DIII University of Southern Maine. During his time there, he became the 4th leading scorer in the school’s history with 1,696 points having played less than 100 games. Tommy was an All-Region 2 player, a three time all conference player, a three-time all-state player, and achieved many other accolades in his time in Southern Maine.
While in Portland, Tommy worked for the Maine Celtics where he had more exposure to high level basketball. He was also able to learn from elite strength and conditioning coaches during his time at the games.
Tommy has played with and against high level talent his whole career, playing AAU ball with Utah Jazz’s Kyle Filipowski and facing off against players like Gradey Dick and Mark Mitchell in the inaugural Jr. NBA tournament in 2018. Tommy has met NBA legends like Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, and Vince Carter and has been able to take their wisdom with him on his journey.
Tommy has participated in two NBA pre-draft camps. In 2024, he went to Los Angeles to help prepare prospects for the upcoming draft. Some players he worked with included Jared McCain, Matas Buzelis, Patty Mills, Joe Ingles, and more. In 2026, Tommy completed another pre-draft which included players such as Nate Ament, Jeremy Fears, and LaBaron Philon Jr. Other players Tommy trained included Paolo Banchero and Tyrese Haliburton. Tommy was able to help out in the weightroom in the 2026 pre-draft process gaining valuable experience with NBA level strength coaches and athletes.
In 2026, Tommy completed a strength and conditioning internship with the Maine Health system where he helped train youth and high school athletes as well as general population clients. He learned about functional training and how to strengthen body systems instead of isolated muscles.
